Law firm Debevoise & Plimpton has expanded its 500-plus strong private equity group with the addition of private equity M&A lawyer James Grimwood as a Partner. Grimwood’s appointment was originally announced in October 2024.
Grimwood joins from Goodwin where he served as a Partner in the firm’s private equity group.
According to a press statement, Grimwood’s arrival “further expands and strengthens the firm’s growing M&A and private equity practices in London, positioning the firm to meet increasing demand from its financial sponsor clients in the UK and internationally”.
Grimwood advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and corporate clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and complex corporate transactions.
