Dechert expands private equity practice with new London Partner

Global law firm Dechert LLP continues to grow its global private equity practice group with the forthcoming addition of Mark Thompson as a partner in its London office. 

Thompson is an experienced corporate lawyer. His practice focuses on private equity and real estate, advising a full range of stakeholders across public and private corporate transactions, M&A, joint ventures and securities offerings. Thompson has acted for a number of leading financial sponsors in this area including Brookfield and Starwood Capital. 

Mark Thierfelder, chair of Dechert’s corporate and securities group and chair of the firm’s global private equity practice, comments: “Mark is a superb addition to our global private equity team and his expertise in PE real estate distinguishes him in the marketplace.”
