Global law firm Dechert has appointed Eliot L Relles as a Partner in its corporate and securities practice group as part of efforts to enhance its capabilities in leveraged finance and private credit. Relles will be based in the firm’s New York office.
Relles has joined Dechert from Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he served as Co-Head of its finance group. He has previously represented middle market-focused financing sources including numerous non-bank private lenders in a wide range of complex financial transactions.
Relles’ areas of expertise include acquisition financing, leveraged lending, structured financial arrangements, asset-based lending, work-outs, restructurings and debtor-in-possession loans.
