Dentons appoints leaders of Europe Corporate and M&A and private equity and venture capital groups

Global law firm Dentons has appointed partners Rob Irving and Kuif Klein Wassink as co-heads of the Europe Corporate and M&A practice group. They will be responsible for leading the firm’s corporate and M&A group across Europe and Central Asia and for further developing the market profile and client base of the practice. 

In addition, partners Piotr Dulewicz and Olivia Guéguen have been named Europe Co-heads of Private Equity and Venture Capital sector group.  They will be responsible for enhancing the Firm’s offering and client relationships in the private equity sector.  

Irving is an M&A and private equity partner with more than 30 years’ experience leading landmark transactions throughout Central and South-Eastern Europe. He was previously the co-head of Dentons’ Private Equity sector group at both the global and European level. Based in Budapest, he is recognised among the top M&A lawyers in CEE.

Klein Wassink is a partner in the Corporate and M&A and Private Equity groups in Amsterdam. He was previously co-head of the Europe Private Equity sector group. He has more than 20 years’ experience in complex cross-border M&A and joint ventures, as well as the design and set up of various types of equity plans.

Dulewicz leads the Corporate and M&A and Private Equity groups in Warsaw. He has more than 25 years’ experience in private equity transactions, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring. 

Guéguen heads the Corporate and M&A group in Paris. She focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, equity investments, joint ventures and strategic alliances, primarily in the life sciences sector.
