German private equity firm Deutsche Beteiligungs has appointed Sigrid Rosemeyer as Managing Director. In her new role, Rosemeyer will oversee the firm’s restructured investor relations department, comprising fund investor relations, corporate communications and marketing.
Rosemeyer was most recently Managing Director at Capital Group, where she was responsible for a cross-sector portfolio of German institutional investors including insurance companies, pension plans and family offices, as helping to expand the company’s German business.
She began her career at Merrill Lynch, spending 14 years working with institutional clients in fixed income and equity derivatives, after which she left for a sales role at Helaba Invest, where she worked with institutional clients in equities, fixed income, real estate and alternative investments.
Deutsche Beteiligungs has been listed since 1985 and focuses on mid-market companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, particularly in manufacturing, industrial services providers, broadband/telecommunications, IT services, software and healthcare. DBAG’s AUM is approximately €2.6bn.
