DW Healthcare Partners sells DermLite to FotoFinder

Healthcare-focused private equity firm DW Healthcare Partners (DWHP) has sold DermLite Holdco I, a portfolio company of its Founders Fund, to FotoFinder Systems, a portfolio company of Paris-based private equity firm EMZ Partners.

DermLite is a California-based developer and manufacturer of dermoscopy tools including dermatoscopes and phone adapters, which enable detection of skin cancer and other types of skin conditions through magnification lenses and LED lighting.

FotoFinder is a Germany-based developer and distributor of technology for early skin cancer detection through its proprietary Automated Total Body Mapping system, artificial intelligence and digital dermoscopy. The company has subsidiaries in Italy, the UK and the US and caters to clients worldwide.
