Eagle Point Credit Management, a specialist private credit investment manager, has appointed Ken Yamashita as Managing Director and Head of Client and Partner Solutions for Japan, reporting to Kyle McGrady, Senior Principal and Head of Client and Partner Solutions.
In his new role, Yamashita will oversee all institutional business development in Japan and manage existing investor relationships, as Eagle Point looks to deepen its presence in the market.
Yamashita joins from Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he was Executive Director in the Financial Institutional Sales group, covering major Japanese institutions across insurance, banking, trust and asset management, with a focus on alternative investments. He previously led alternatives sales at BlackRock Japan, having also held senior roles at SVP Global and Tanaka Value Investments KK.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Kyoto University.
