Edda secures $5.8m funding for Bloomberg terminal of the private markets

Edda, a collaborative software platform for professional investors, raised $5.8 million in funding from investors including Mucker Capital, Plug&Play, FJ Labs, Tony Fadell’s Future Shape, and angel investor, Arnaud Bonzom. 

Edda, a collaborative software platform for professional investors, raised $5.8 million in funding from investors including Mucker Capital, Plug&Play, FJ Labs, Tony Fadell’s Future Shape, and angel investor, Arnaud Bonzom. 

Edda enables members of private equity investment teams from analysts to CFOs and partners to work collaboratively via the online platform or through the Edda mobile app. Edda is used by over 100 investment firms across 26 countries including Plug&Play, BPI France, Future Shape LLC, Headline JP and more.

Private equity investors have more than $6.5 trillion under management, which is being invested in the most innovative sectors and companies in the world. However, the majority of these investors still rely on tools such as Excel spreadsheets to manage their portfolios. Edda has been developed to provide the market with fit for purpose technology bringing efficiency, transparency and safety to the industry, from the earliest days of deal selecting through to portfolio management and exits.
