Swedish investment firm EQT has appointed Peter Aliprantis as Partner and Head of the firm’s private wealth management business in the Americas. In his new role, Aliprantis will report to Peter Beske Nielsen, Partner and Global Head of Private Wealth, and will be based in EQT’s New York office.
Prior to joining EQT, Aliprantis was a Managing Director at TPG Angelo Gordon, where he focused on new business development and intermediary distribution.
Prior to TPG Angelo Gordon, Aliprantis was Partner and Managing Director of Global Intermediary Distribution at FrontPoint Partners, where he managed global distribution of the firm’s alternative investment products to ultra-high-net-worth investors, family offices and investment advisors.
EQT oversees €242bn within the business segments of private capital and real assets.
