Anna Lekston has joined the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (EVCA) as senior public affairs manager.
She will take the lead for the association on a number of policy issues including Solvency II, the Structure of Banking as well as the review of the European System of Financial Supervision and the IORP Directive.
Lekston joins the EVCA from the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU, where she was first counsellor for financial services between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, she spent five years at the Polish Ministry of Finance where she was head of the financial stability unit, financial market development department.
