North Carolina-based private equity firm Falfurrias Management Partners has made a growth investment in cybersecurity company MOXFIVE.
Equity for this investment comes from Falfurrias Capital Partners V, an operationally focused lower middle-market fund.
Founded in 2019 by Mike Wager, the founder of security advisor Crypsis Group, MOXFIVE offers a proprietary platform for businesses to oversee risk management initiatives.
As part of the investment, Joe Price and Wilson Sullivan, Partners at Falfurrias, will join MOXFIVE’s board alongside Mike and Alison Wager. Mike Wager will continue leading the company as CEO.
MOXFIVE was advised by Raymond James and DLA Piper, while Falfurrias was advised by K&L Gates.
