The $2bn private credit division of investment manager Federated Hermes has appointed Paul Robinson as Director, Origination & Structuring, a newly created London-based role within the business’s real estate debt team, which was launched in 2015.
Robinson will report to Vincent Nobel, Head of Asset Based Lending at Federated Hermes. According to a press release, he will be responsible for driving the origination of lending opportunities and design of customised loan structuring to ensure income capture and to deliver income distributions to investors over the long-term.
Prior to Federated Hermes, Robinson was a Consultant at JPMorgan Chase, led underwriting teams at Trimont Real Estate Advisors and Hudson Advisors and held roles within the commercial real estate businesses of banks including Lloyds, Hypo Real Estate and Anglo Irish, according to his LinkedIn profile. He started his career at GE Capital.
Federated Hermes’s private credit division focuses on loan opportunities in Europe across both direct lending and real estate debt investment strategies.
