Fiera Capital, an independent global asset management firm with over $122.1bn in AUM as of 31 March, has launched its “all-seasons” small-to-mid cap growth strategy to European institutional and wholesale investors.
According to a press statement, the strategy “seeks to deliver significant capital appreciation across multiple market cycles, providing clients with stability during market downturns”. The portfolio typically holds 60 to 90 names and consists of companies between $150m and $10bn at time of initial purchase.
The $6.1bn fund has returned 24.61% over 12 months and 15.25% over three years (as of 31 March), delivering significant outperformance versus its Russell 2500 Growth Index benchmark, providing some downside protection and reduced volatility.
The strategy has an open-ended, publicly available record via a US ’40 ACT vehicle. The UCITS is identical to the existing strategy.
