finnCap Cavendish has promoted Chris Malcolm and Anthony Platt to co-heads of technology.
finnCap Group is a provider of strategic advisory and capital raising services to growth companies. As an integral part of the firm’s full service offering, the 12 strong finnCap Cavendish Technology team offers technology expertise across the full suite of sell side and buy side M&A advisory, debt advisory, growth capital and public markets.
Since the start of 2021 the team has closed 15 technology deals including The Floow, Boku Identity, Wood Thilsted, Mail Manager, Intelling, Xexec, Systal and Redcentric / Piksel, with a strong and expanding pipeline of upcoming opportunities. In addition, the team is a key part of the Oaklins global technology practice which has closed over 80 transactions across TMT in the last 12 months.
Malcolm and Platt both have over 15 years’ experience covering the broader technology and telecoms sector and are focused on expanding the practice as it responds to an increasing pipeline of new opportunities within both the private and public arenas.
Malcolm joined Cavendish in September 2019. He has over 17 years’ experience covering the global technology, media and telecoms space and has advised clients on acquisitions, disposals and capital-raisings with an aggregate transaction value in excess of £25 billion.
Platt has extensive experience leading transactions in the software and services space. Previously he held senior roles in the technology M&A team at Grant Thornton and prior to that EY in London.
