Finula Cilliers joins Evercore as MD in debt advisory group

Finula Cilliers (pictured) has joined Evercore’s Investment Banking business as a Managing Director in the Debt Advisory Group in London. 

She will be responsible for leading Evercore's specialist derivatives and hedging advisory capability, further enhancing the range of services that Evercore provides to existing and new clients and strengthening Evercore's market-leading Restructuring and Debt Advisory Group which has over 45 professionals in New York and London.

Cilliers was most recently a Director at Rothschild in London and head of its derivatives and hedging advisory team which she founded fifteen years ago. She has more than 25 years' experience providing advice to clients regarding derivatives structuring, risk management and structured finance. During her career she has focused on hedging and derivatives advisory work for major corporations, financial institutions, creditor groups, governments and government entities on a global basis. Cilliers has a BSc Hons in Applied Mathematics from the University of St Andrews.
