Former Morgan Stanley healthcare investment specialist joins 3i

International private equity firm 3i has appointed John J.

International private equity firm 3i has appointed John J. Moore as a partner of 3i North America, responsible for the firm’s healthcare investment strategy across the continent.

Moore joins a team of more than 20 healthcare professionals across North America, Europe and Asia.

The firm’s global healthcare team has invested approximately USD2bn in over 36 healthcare companies since 2001. The global healthcare leadership team is led by Alan Mackay in London.
 
Moore joins 3i after 15 years with Morgan Stanley where as a managing director and the global head of healthcare investment banking, he was responsible for all aspects of Morgan Stanley’s healthcare banking efforts around the world.
