Frostrow Capital appoints Head of Investment Companies

Frostrow Capital (Frostrow) has appointed Richard Plaskett in the newly created role of Head of Investment Companies.

This appointment reflects the growth in Frostrow’s business and on-going demand for the firm’s services in the investment companies’ sector. Richard will work closely with managing partner, Alastair Smith and the wider Frostrow team in ensuring client investment company Boards receive the highest quality service.
A chartered accountant, Plaskett was formerly a managing director with JP Morgan Asset Management with responsibility for a number of JP Morgan’s leading investment company clients. He was previously with Aberdeen Asset Management, UBS Warburg and RSM Robson Rhodes. He joins Frostrow on 1 September 2021.
Alastair Smith, Frostrow managing partner, says: ‘We are delighted to have attracted an individual of Richard Plaskett’s calibre and experience to this newly created role. Richard will be a first-class addition to our team and will lead the client service area of our business in an increasingly complex environment. We all very much look forward to working with him.’
Plaskett adds: “I am hugely excited to be joining Frostrow; a business which has grown impressively since its launch in 2007.  With a sole focus on the investment companies’ sector, this is an interesting opportunity to contribute to the range and quality of services Frostrow has become known for and to help ensure the continued growth and success of the firm’s clients. I am greatly looking forward to joining the team.”
