Funding Circle, a UK-based small business loan platform, has made internal promotions in its Capital Markets division.
Dipesh Mehta and Sam Granger will become Co-Heads of Global Capital Markets, taking over from Sachin Patel who has been with Funding Circle for more than eight years.
The Capital Markets team has established Funding Circle’s institutional investment capability which now sees a wide range of investors – including banks, asset management companies, insurance companies, government-backed entities, individuals and funds – leveraging Funding Circle’s machine learning and technology capabilities to lend to SMEs at both speed and scale.
