Natterbox has secured significant Series A funding from Octopus Investments to continue its rapid growth.
Self-funded to date by its founders, Natterbox has always heavily invested in product development and evolving its service offering. Natterbox says the new injection will boost marketing and sales, helping to further improve customer service which customers such as Groupon and Legal & General rely on. It will fuel growth within existing geographies – UK, Germany and Australia – as well as moving into new territories including North America and the Nordics.

Macfarlanes has advised venture capital investor Dawn Capital on the raising of its third fund, Dawn III, which after increasing its hard cap twice, attracted commitments of GBP165 million, making it one of the largest venture capital funds raised in Europe in the last couple of years.
The fund which focuses on early-stage investment in fintech and Software as a Service (SaaS) businesses secured investments from UK, European and US institutional investors and notably the European Investment Fund (EIF).

Mobius Motors, a Kenya-based designer and manufacturer of durable, affordable vehicles for Africa, has successfully closed an equity and debt funding round led by Pan-African Investment Company, with participation from Playfair Capital, Techstars, Chandaria Industries and VestedWorld.
The debt financing is being provided by the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, the development finance institution of the United States. The financing will be used to launch Mobius Motors’ new production facility in Nairobi as well as accelerate its growth strategy.

Zencap Asset Management is about to launch its third senior infrastructure debt Fund after the success of the first two funds; Zencap Infra Debt, launched in 2014, and Zencap Infra Debt 2, launched in 2016.
