Arma Partners has acted as financial adviser to EQT on the sale of its portfolio company, Automic, to CA Technologies at an enterprise valuation of EUR600 million.
Automic is a provider of business automation software that helps enterprises improve productivity and drive agility by automating business processes and IT infrastructure regardless of architecture, complexity and location.
Headquartered in Vienna, Austria, with approximately 600 employees across Europe, North America and Asia, Automic serves a wide range of customers in the energy, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and telecommunications sectors.

Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) is to add Sound Harbor Partners, a US private credit manager led by Michael Zupon and Dean Criares, to its private debt platform.
AllianzGI will acquire Sound Harbor’s assets for an undisclosed sum and the Sound Harbor team will join AllianzGI.
The Sound Harbor team will become part of the AllianzGI global investment platform, maintaining the integrity of its investment strategy, process and team while accessing insights and knowledge-sharing among colleagues across the platform.

Central and Eastern Europe private equity fund Innova Capital has sold its 27 per cent stake in Wirtualna Polska Holding for PLN50 per share.
In 2014 the Innova Capital fund financed the acquisition of Wirtualna Polska from Orange Polska and its merger with the o2 Group.

Albion Ventures has launched the Albion VCTs Top Up Offers and is seeking to raise up to GBP24 million across its six venture capital trusts.
Investors who apply before 31 January 2017 for the first GBP7.5 million of shares will be entitled to an "early bird" discount.

Cvent, a cloud-based enterprise event management company, has been acquired by private equity firm Vista Equity Partners.
The USD1.65 billion transaction, originally announced on 18 April 2016, was completed on 29 November.
Cvent’s shareholders approved the agreement on 12 July 2016.
Following the transaction, Reggie Aggarwal will remain the chief executive officer and president of Cvent. Cvent will continue to operate as Cvent, Inc.

Following the transaction, KKR will become the majority shareholder in Hilding Anders.
No financial have been disclosed and the transaction is subject to the customary regulatory approvals.
Founded in 1939, Hilding Anders is a bed manufacturer in Europe, Russia and Asia. The company has 9,500 employees at 23 sites across 19 countries, and sells products in 65 local markets, generating revenues of EUR917 million in 2015. LGT Capital Partners has raised in excess of USD2.5 billion for Crown Global Secondaries IV (CGS IV), its fourth dedicated secondary fund.
The fund is expected to be oversubscribed and hold its final closing at the hard cap of USD 2.8 billion in the coming months.

KKR has closed two direct lending transactions which will provide financing for Roompot, an operator of holiday parks, and Exterion Media, an outdoor advertising company in the UK and Europe.
The two transactions will deliver over USD275 million in financing and add to the track record of KKR’s European direct lending platform which provides funding for medium-sized companies across Europe in need of customized funding solutions beyond traditional bank lending.
