Future Finance Loan Corporation (Future Finance), which makes tailored loans to undergraduates and postgraduates at universities across the UK, has raised GBP119 million in growth and lending capital from leading FinTech investors QED Investors, Blackstone Strategic Opportunity Fund, Colchis Capital, Invus Opportunities, KCK, DW Partners, Fenway Summer Ventures, Ridge Road Partners, 1/0 Capital and others. £100 million of the recent funds raised is for lending capital, supplementing the company’s existing credit facility with Goldman Sachs.
This new investment will enable Future Finance to make even more loans, ensuring that many more students have access to higher education in the UK,
Funds managed by Cornerstone Partners and funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management are to acquire Polish transfer agent and business processing outsourcing specialist ProService Agent Transferowy (ProService).
The agreement for purchase of 100 per cent stake in ProService Agent Transferowy was concluded on 23 February 2016. The company will be acquired by a partnership of Cornerstone Partners and Oaktree’s European Principal Group from private equity firm Highlander Partners. The transaction requires consent of Polish competition authority (UOKiK).

SS&C Technologies Holdings has completed the acquisition of Citi's Alternative Investor Services Business, a provider of hedge fund and private equity fund administration services. SS&C acquired the business unit from Citi for approximately USD321 million.
Citi's Alternative Investor Services Business is a top 10 fund administrator and through the acquisition SS&C will add more than 1,400 staff across 13 offices, 265 customers, and approximately $395 billion in assets under administration. Justworks has raised USD33 million in a Series C funding round led by Redpoint Ventures with participation from existing investors Bain Capital Ventures, Thrive Capital and Index Ventures. The round brings Justworks’ total funding to USD53 million.
The company will use its current funding to invest in its core technology and features and enhance its benefits platform with additional partnerships and offerings that will continue to make life easier for its small business customers and their employees. With an already established foothold in New York and licenses in all 50 states, Justworks is poised to continue its growth across the country.
EZBob Ltd, which trades as business e-lenders Everline and EZBob, has closed a Series C investment round with a GBP20 million equity investment from Leumi Partners, the investment banking arm of Israel-based Bank Leumi, and funds managed by existing investor Oaktree Capital Management.

Swansea-based Energist has acquired global rights outside the USA to the Chromogenex name and a range of well-recognised i-Lipo brands and products established by Chromogenex over the past decade.
Energist is a specialist in the medical aesthetic equipment industry, manufacturing a range of plasma, laser and light-based products used for the removal of hair and the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles, acne and veins.
