TI Automotive, a leading provider of fluid storage, carrying and delivery systems to automotive manufacturers, is to be acquired by private investment firm Bain Capital.    The existing management team will continue to lead the company.  Financial terms of the private transaction have not been disclosed. Scout RFP, a cloud-based sourcing platform, has raised USD2.75 million in seed financing led by venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA), with participation from Google Ventures and Zapis Capital. Angel investors Techammer & Tim O'Shaughnessy also participated.  The funding will be used to grow the company's engineering team and scale the product for their enterprise customers. GBR Phoenix Beard has acquired Optic Asset Management following several months of detailed discussions between the firms.  The new business will be called GBR Phoenix Beard and will trade with immediate effect. Optic’s London team is scheduled to re-locate from current offices in Wells Street to GBR Phoenix Beard’s Chandos Street base in March. The acquisition will mean that GBR Phoenix Beard will now have a base in central Leeds. The shareholders of trial strategy consulting firm DOAR have bought back private equity firm Veronis Suhler Stevenson’s stake in the company. DOAR provides trial strategy consulting and related services for individuals, law firms and corporations involved in high stakes civil, regulatory and white collar criminal litigation. The initial investment by Veronis Suhler Stevenson (VSS) occurred in 2005 with additional investments used to fund growth through the addition of new lines of business and acquisitions. Preqin has launched its 2015 Preqin Global Alternatives Reports, revealing significant growth in assets held by private equity, hedge fund, private debt, real estate and infrastructure fund managers. IFC, with the support of the Government of Canada and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) is helping BMR Jamaica Wind build, operate and maintain a 36.3 MW capacity wind farm about 90 km west of Kingston.
