O2 Investment Partners portfolio company Capital Construction, a provider of roof replacement and other exterior restoration services to residential customers in the Midwest USA, has partnered with Irish Roofing & Exteriors (www.irishroofs.com). Irish Roofing & Exteriors (Irish) is a provider of roof replacement and repair and other exterior restoration services to customers in West Michigan. Irish is headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan and earlier in 2021 opened its second branch location in Portage, Michigan.
Forterro, a European provider of ERP software solutions to nearly 8,000 mid-market manufacturing and production companies, has acquired myfactory, a provider of cloud-based ERP software to more than 2,000 wholesalers and manufacturers in DACH.  The acquisition expands Forterro’s total addressable market in DACH, and nearly doubles the number of customers served by the group in the region. myfactory will operate as a standalone business within Forterro. David Lauchenauer, CEO of myfactory, will continue overseeing the business in the role of general manager with the support of his existing management team. 
Clearlake Capital Group is to sell Proven Brands and KTB Foods to The Hain Celestial Group (Hain Celestial) for approximately USD259 million.  The sale includes the flagship ParmCrisps and Thinsters brands out of Clearlake’s Better For You Holdings food platform, which sponsors leading providers of high quality, branded, better-for-you snacks and beverages.   Clearlake acquired the Company in 2014 and subsequently completed the successful acquisition of Kitchen Table Bakers, the makers of ParmCrisps, in 2016.

Ares Management Corporation (Ares), a global alternative investment manager, has held the final closing of Ares Senior Direct Lending Fund II (SDL II). With total equity commitments of approximately USD8 billion, SDL II was significantly oversubscribed relative to its initial target of USD4.5 billion. 
The European Investment Fund (EIF), part of the European Investment Bank Group (EIB), has closed a commitment to invest EUR50 million in Overawed Renewables Europe V FCR, a Spanish-based Fund managed by Everwood Capital devoted to investing in renewable assets in Southern Europe.    Everwood Fund V will invest in developing, constructing, and operating a portfolio of new renewable projects, primarily photovoltaic assets. Everwood Fund V is also one of the first Spanish funds to classify under Article 9 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), the highest classification under the new directive. This implies that the investments under Everwood
Global venture capital firm 83North has led aa EUR14.5 million Series A funding round in Samotics, a provider of real-time actionable insights to eliminate industrial energy waste and unplanned downtime.  83North has a proven track record in building category leaders across multiple domains including Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies.
Circularity Capital has continued to build its portfolio of European growth-stage businesses enabling the circular economy, with an GBP8 million investment in P2i – a global leader in liquid repellent nanotechnology products.  Founded in 2004, P2i works with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to enhance devices by making them liquid resistant, providing waterproof protection, improving their reliability and enabling them to survive liquid exposure from everyday accidents. Perseus Group SA (Perseus) has secured senior and mezzanine facilities totalling EUR93 million. The loans, from funds managed and advised by Cheyne Capital (Cheyne), will be used to finance the conversion of the Hôtel du Couvent in Nice and refinance the existing debt of the Hotel Le Pigalle in Paris. The financing has enabled the successful exit of Platina International (Platina), Perseus’s long-term investor, which has been supporting the group since 2011. Valéry Grégo, Perseus’s founder and CEO, becomes majority shareholder. 
Regnan and J O Hambro Capital Management Limited (JOHCM) have launched an offshore vehicle for the Regnan Sustainable Water and Waste Fund.  The Regnan Sustainable Water and Waste Fund will be managed by UK-based Bertrand Lecourt and Saurabh Sharma, who are pioneers in combining exposure to both water and waste-related companies. The team previously managed the Fidelity Funds – Sustainable Water & Waste Fund, which Lecourt launched in 2018. The aim of the fund is to generate capital growth over rolling five-year periods and to pursue a sustainable objective by investing in companies which provide solutions to global water and/or
A Birmingham-based licensed train operating and driver training company has secured a GBP750,000 funding package to create new jobs roles, develop new products and bolster marketing strategy. SLC Operations Limited (SLCO) received GBP500,000 from Midlands Engine Investment Fund’s (MEIF) West Midlands Debt Fund, managed by Maven Debt Finance, GBP250,000 from an existing investor, and backed by the Recovery Loan Scheme (RLS). The funding will also help to create 28 skilled jobs in the region, doubling SLCO’s existing workforce of more than 20 staff.
