Alter Domus, a fully integrated provider of fund administration, debt capital markets and corporate services backed by the Permira funds, has acquired Investors Economic Assurance (IEA), a global provider of technology solutions and services to alternative investment managers. The Manhattan-based firm specialises in capital administration solutions including Limited Partners’ waterfall calculations and General Partners’ carried-interest allocations.   This strategic acquisition represents another milestone in the firm’s growth strategy focused on providing high-quality, vertically integrated solutions to the most demanding private equity, venture capital, real estate, and credit investors. GI Partners has closed the GI Partners Fund VI, with USD3.9 billion in total commitments. The oversubscribed fund includes a broad group of global investors and surpassed its target of USD3.25 billion, as well as exceeded its prior Fund V raise of USD2.8 billion in 2017.
Milton Keynes-based adam HTT, which facilitates the delivery of public sector contracts, has secured a GBP5 million investment from alternative lender BOOST&Co. The business plans to use the GBP5 million term loan to accelerate the roll-out of its in-house “early payment” facility, which will support the 2,000 suppliers already on the adam HTT platform, by giving them easier access to working capital.   Primarily active in the health and social care sectors, adam HTT helps its public sector customers automate their supply chain management processes, centralise supplier payment functions and ensure a smoother supply process. Palatine Private Equity has acquired a majority stake in Routes Healthcare, one of the North’s leading providers of specialist person-centred health and homecare services. Headquartered in the North-West, the business operates from 14 service centres, employing 120 operational and management staff, along with 1,000 carers. Tesseract, an institutional digital asset lending company in Europe and emerging markets which provides digital asset lending solutions to institutional clients, such as hedge funds and retail trading platforms, globally, has raised USD25 million in its Series A funding round.  The first funding round in Europe focusing on the sector is led by Augmentum Fintech, a London-based leader in FinTech investments. An affiliate of funds advised by SK Capital Partners (SK Capital) is to sell Niacet Corp (Niacet) to Kerry Group plc, the global taste and nutrition company, for USD1,015 million (EUR853 million) on a cash-free, debt-free basis, subject to customary closing adjustments. Following the acquisition, Niacet will be integrated into Kerry’s global food protection and preservation platform. Oxwash, the UK-based green laundry startup backed by Twitter co-founder Biz Stone has raised GBP2.08 million (USD3 million) in seed expansion investment, to clean up the traditional and environmentally costly washing and dry cleaning sector with its space-age technology.
