Private investment firm Rcapital has acquired Patrick Parsons, provider of multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy services to commercial, industrial and housing developers.
Patrick Parsons focusses on helping clients assess, design and overcome the most complex of engineering challenges across a range of sectors. Operating from four sites – its HQ in Birmingham, London, Wakefield and Ashvale – the business provides a range of connected engineering services including Structural, Civil and Geo-Environmental consulting engineering services, competences the firm has developed over many years, and for which it has built a strong industry reputation.

Technimark, a leading global provider of custom rigid plastic packaging solutions to healthcare, consumer packaging and specialty industrial customers, today announced the completion of a new growth investment from Oak Hill Capital Partners, an investment firm with experience growing manufacturing companies.
Oak Hill’s investment will provide significant capital to support Technimark’s continued market expansion and robust growth. Pritzker Private Capital (PPC), which partnered with Technimark management in 2014, will retain a significant minority investment and will continue to be actively involved in growing the business. Transaction details were not disclosed.

Foresight Group Holdings Limited (Foresight), a an infrastructure and private equity manager, has held a further interim close for Foresight Energy Infrastructure Partners (FEIP), a sustainability-led energy infrastructure fund investing predominantly in Europe, with commitments of cEUR716 million.
Including co-investments to date of EUR170 million, this represents a total capital pool of cEUR886 million for Foresight’s energy transition strategy.
The close sees a total of cEUR285 million of new commitments from investors since the interim close announced in January 2021. These investors include LCIV Renewable Infrastructure Fund, the newly formed investment Fund managed by London LGPS CIV Ltd, and other
Victoria Plum has secured a GBP7 million flexible facility from Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance to support further growth, following record sales by the company.
The specialist online bathroom retailer, owned by private equity fund Endless, reported GBP103m in sales in its 20th anniversary year, up 46 per cent on the previous 12 months.
EBITDA reached GBP4.5 million, an increase of 115 per cent on the previous year, and the workforce grew by 49, taking total employee numbers to 398 in February 2021.

Global cyber security and software resilience business, NCC Group, has completed its acquisition of Iron Mountain’s Intellectual Property Management (IPM) business in a GBP156 million deal providing immediate additional scale to the Group’s Software Resilience business in North America.
Together, the two businesses will offer a rich, complementary set of resilience services to customers including a full suite of software verification services and the Group’s cloud resilience proposition: Escrow-as-a-Service (EaaS).

Piglet, a British direct-to-consumer homeware brand behind a successful range of high-quality and low-maintenance linen products and other “soft home” goods, has raised USD8.5 million (GBP6 million) in a funding round led by Active Partners, a consumer-focused investment firm.
The fresh funds, which are Piglet’s first outside capital, will be used to internationally scale the business, expand the brand’s product offering, and build out the Piglet team in the UK, Europe and North America. Moonfare, a digital investment platform for top-tier private markets funds, is launching a second vintage of its flagship Buyout Portfolio to build on the success of the portfolio franchise it launched in 2020.
Moonfare Buyout Portfolio I, a core part of Moonfare’s efforts to put top private equity funds within reach of individual investors, closed in May oversubscribed and performed strongly across key metrics. The fund raised a total of EUR70 million, 40 per cent above its original EUR50 million target.
