Splashtop, a remote access and remote support company, has closed a USD50 million financing round that takes its valuation above the USD1 billion mark.
Weatherford Capital, a family-owned private investment firm, has completed a USD22.5 million Series A investment in SOMA Global, a provider of cloud-native, modern public safety solutions focused on the public sector. SOMA Global was founded in 2017 to redefine and deliver modern, best-of-breed public safety solutions with a primary focus on saving lives and protecting first responders. Founded by a team of public safety and technology veterans, SOMA Global’s Public Safety as a Service (PSAAS) platform offers industry-leading computer-aided dispatch, mobile dispatch, records management and jail solutions. SGT German Private Equity has completed its merger with SGT Capital, to create an international, listed private equity asset manager based out of Germany.  The merged company expects sustainable, predictable net profits from market standard asset management fees of approximately EUR0.20 to EUR0.80 pa from 2022 onwards, depending on the raised fund volume. In addition, the merged company has the potential to generate earnings from other assets of SGT German Private Equity of about EUR25 million, in particular the investments in German tech growth companies of the wholly owned subsidiary German Startups Group VC. Traliant, a provider of online workplace compliance training solutions, has secured a majority investment from funds advised by PSG, a growth equity firm partnering with lower middle-market software and technology-enabled service companies.  PSG’s Tom Reardon, Managing Director, and Chris Andrews, Principal, have joined Traliant’s Board of Directors. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.   Traliant has rapidly grown since its founding in 2016 and currently serves over 5,000 organisations globally, including small and mid-sized businesses as well as a growing number of large enterprises such as Hilton Worldwide Holdings, Stanford Health Care and PepsiCo. Pioneer Point Partners (Pioneer), a specialist infrastructure investment firm, has held the EUR150 million first close target of its maiden institutional fund, Pioneer Infrastructure Partners SCSp.  The first close has been supported by five European and North American institutions. The Fund is seeking to raise total capital commitments of EUR500 million and is targeting a 15-plus per cent IRR.   The fund will be deployed in line with Pioneer’s historically successful lower mid-market, value-add infrastructure strategy in the energy transition and environment sectors across Western Europe. Limerston Capital portfolio company Prism Healthcare has completed the acquisition of Repose Furniture Limited (Repose) adding a further GBP7 million in revenues and GBP1.7 million in EBITDA. Equality Health, a provider of technology, services and support for value-based care, has secured a strategic investment from General Atlantic, a leading global growth equity firm, to fuel the Company’s next phase of growth as a value-based primary care network serving the Medicaid, Medicare and ACA Exchange populations.  Existing investor Endeavour Capital will remain a minority shareholder, and Town Hall Ventures will also invest in the Company.
