Foresight Group (Foresight) and Belltown Power Limited (Belltown) have formed a joint venture (JV) to develop Belltown’s pipeline of greenfield onshore wind energy projects across the UK under the existing Belltown brand.The JV aims to deliver more than 300MW of incremental clean electricity capacity to support the UK’s move to a net-zero power system. The pipeline is focused on sites with excellent potential for wind development, predominantly in Scotland and Wales, and will be developed on a merchant-only, PPA or CfD supported basis.

Antwerp-based Down2Earth Capital (D2E) has acquired Gimv’s majority shareholding in Grandeco, with both Gimv and the Grandeco management team maintaining an investment in the business.
By broadening its investor group, Grandeco is seeking to strengthen its position within the decorative wallpaper area, including through potential strategic acquisitions, according to the company.
“Grandeco is a market performer in a highly fragmented industry, the company has achieved above-average growth and profitability in recent years,” said Alain Keppens, partner at Down2Earth Capital.
“In addition to its strong reputation in analogue printing, the company has a clear advantage in the area of digital printing,” he added.

Capricorn Partners has joined a double-digit million growth financing round for plant-based protein firm Prolupin with an investment of EUR7 million, from its Capricorn Sustainable Chemistry Fund and Quest for Growth.
The funding round was led by Capricorn Partners, an independent manager of private and quoted equity funds that invest in minority shareholding positions of companies with technology as competitive advantage, and Stockholm-based growth investor Novax powered by the Swedish Axel Johnson family.
The round was initiated by existing investors Munich Venture Partners and eCapital Entrepreneurial Partners. Investment bank Bryan, Garnier & Co acted as financial advisor on the transaction.

Proptech VC, Pi Labs, has secured a strategic GBP2.5 million investment from leading pan-European real estate fund manager, Revcap, into the Pi Labs business. The funding willsupport Pi Labs’ expansion internationally, to grow its multidisciplinary team of real estate, finance, and technology professionals, and to invest into its platform.
Andrew Pettit, Founding Partner at Revcap, will join the Pi Labs board. This investment will provide strategic support to Pi Labs as it continues to raise capital following the first close of its third fund, Fund 3, in which Revcap also participated.
