Lovell Minnick Partners (LMP), a private equity firm focused on investments in the global financial services industry, including related technology and business service companies, is to acquire a majority stake in Inside Real Estate, an end-to-end SaaS platform serving the residential real estate market.  Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Inflexion Private Equity has agreed to acquire Marley, a UK-based roofing specialist, from Etex, a building materials firm based in Belgium which has owned Marley since 1999. The investment is being made by Inflexion Buyout Fund V, Inflexion’s dedicated mid‐market fund. Founded in 1924, Marley is the UK leading manufacturer and supplier of roofing system products, including concrete and clay tiles as well as associated roofing accessories. The Staffordshire-based business employs 600 people across five manufacturing sites and two distribution centres. UK private equity firm Maven Capital Partners (Maven) has invested GBP160,000 in data analysis business, Innotech Insights (Innotech), on behalf of NPIF – Maven Equity Finance (NPIF), part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.  The funding will support the expansion of Innotech’s sales team, invest in product development and in the roll out of the company’s flagship analysis system product, Crowded.   Innotech provides both public and private sector organisations with the information they need to make major planning decisions by accurately monitoring pedestrian movements in an area, indoors or out. Private equity-focused investment office Souter Investments is to sell New Zealand-based Howick and Eastern Buses and Mana Coach Services to Transdev. Terms of the transaction, which remains subject to regulatory approval, have not been disclosed.   With its fleet of 145 buses Howick and Eastern Buses currently operates 23 urban routes on behalf of Auckland Transport, whilst Mana’s fleet of 66 buses operates services on behalf of the Greater Wellington Regional Council. Middle market private equity firm Gryphon Investors (Gryphon) is to make a significant investment in Mechanix Wear, a designer and manufacturer of high-performance work gloves.  Working alongside current owner and CEO Michael Hale, who will retain an ownership stake in the Company, Gryphon intends to build a leading platform in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) sector. The transaction, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter, is subject to customary closing conditions.
