An affiliate of One Rock Capital Partners (One Rock) is to acquire the Engineered Components & Systems (EC&S) segment (excluding Cortland US) from Actuant Corporation (Actuant). The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2019.

Private investment firm Clearlake Capital Group and existing investor TA Associates are to make a strategic growth investment inDigiCert, a provider of TLS/SSL, PKI and IoT security solutions for identity and encryption.
As a part of the transaction, Clearlake and TA will become equal partners in DigiCert. The company will continue to be led by CEO John Merrill and the current management team, who are investing alongside Clearlake and TA in the transaction. Terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.

CVC Capital Partners (CVC), the majority shareholder in appliance care specialist Domestic & General (D&G) is to sell a 30 per cent stake in the business to Luxinva, an entity ultimately wholly-owned by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).
CVC will continue as D&G’s majority shareholder via CVC Capital Partners Fund VII. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of 2019, subject to customary regulatory clearances.

Fashion software company Unmade has closed a new funding round of GBP4.75 million led by Octopus Ventures, with additional funds coming from MMC Ventures, Felix Capital and existing investors.
The financing will be used to fund Unmade’s continued global expansion and development of its technology, as well as improvements in serving existing customers. Unmade plans to grow its team both in Europe and the US.

Prospect Hill Growth Partners (Prospect Hill) has closed Prospect Hill Growth Fund II with total commitments of USD380 million exceeding the USD300 million target and the prior Prospect Hill fund.
Investors committed to Prospect Hill’s new fund include public and corporate pension funds, insurance companies, financial institutions and family offices, and are represented across major global investor markets with 54 per cent from the US, 31 per cent from Canada, and 15 per cent from Europe.

Alantra Private Debt has completed a new transaction from its latest fund with a long-term financing for Foodbox, a Spanish restaurant franchising platform with well known-brands such as Taberna del Volapié, Papizza, Santagloria, L´Obrador and MásQMenos.
This financing will help Foodbox to execute its growth plan by doubling its size. The company’s objective is to open between 30 and 40 new establishments per year.
An undisclosed Spanish bank has also participated in the transaction.
