Zayo Group Holdings is to be acquired by affiliates of Digital Colony Partners (Digital Colony) and the EQT Infrastructure IV fund (EQT). The transaction would result in Zayo transitioning from a public company to a private company.  Under the new ownership, the Zayo team would continue to execute the Company’s strategy and remain headquartered in Boulder, Colorado.   Under the terms of the agreement, which was unanimously approved by Zayo’s Board of Directors, shareholders will receive USD35.00 in cash per share of Zayo’s common stock in a transaction valued at USD14.3 billion, including the assumption of USD5.9 billion of Zayo’s

Investcorp, a provider and manager of alternative investment products, is to sell SecureLink Group, one of the largest dedicated cybersecurity infrastructure and managed services providers in Europe, to global telecoms group Orange for an enterprise value of EUR515 million. Investcorp first acquired SecureLink, a leading player in the Benelux region, in December 2015 with a view to consolidating the highly attractive but fragmented European cybersecurity market. Over the last three years, SecureLink has experienced strong organic growth, added leading providers in Scandinavia, the UK and Germany to its platform and expanded in China. Exabeam has closed USD75 million in a Series E funding round led by new investor Sapphire Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners, which have collectively backed nearly 40 IPOs.  Other existing investors also participated. Asterion Industrial Partners, an independent investment management firm focusing on infrastructure investments in Europe, is to acquire a portfolio of data centres from Telefónica.  The portfolio consists of 29MW of power through 11 state-of-the-art & highly connected data centres, in Spain, USA, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Argentina. The data centres mostly have a Tier III or IV certification, representing the highest quality in the reliability benchmark for a data centre’s server hosting ability.
