ARX Equity Partners (ARX) has completed the majority acquisition of a leading Czech-based facades business, Fenestra Wieden (Fenestra), and simultaneous add-on purchase of Skanska’s Czech facades operation – now collectively rebranded as Fenestra.  Going forward, ARX will partner with Fenestra’s senior management, who will retain a significant minority stake as part of the deal terms. US private equity firm Horizon Capital’s latest USD200 million fund, Emerging Europe Growth Fund III (EEGF III), has acquired a minority stake in the Ajax Systems, a producer of smart security systems in Ukraine for USD10 million. Private equity firms are continuing to invest in the UK, despite the uncertainty created by the Brexit process, according to a new report from eFront, a financial software and solutions provider dedicated to Alternative Investments. eFront’s research showed that capital commitments have continued strongly since the Brexit vote in mid-2016, with deployment becoming more stable from 2016 onwards, compared with the trend seen over the previous three years.
