Fusion Alternative Investment Partners, a newly-established private equity adviser specialising in technology and services, has announced an investment in Etheios Group, a market leader in consulting, implementation and resourcing solutions to investment managers.
UK-based Etheios provides business and IT services to asset and investment managers and their service and software suppliers. It covers the entire lifecycle from strategy through planning, business case definition, design, development, testing and user acceptance, to project management, implementation and post operational reviews and support.
Etheios specialises in fund services, front office, alternative investments, regulatory approval, compliance and testing, as well as implementation of specialised system platforms for equity, bond and derivatives trading, settlement and record-keeping.
As well as access to growth capital, Fusion says it will add global market reach and experience in sourcing to Etheios’s existing strengths, and that its expertise in the financial industry and technology and management consulting for large firms further complement and strengthen Etheios’s proposition.
