Gallant Capital Partners (Gallant), a Los Angeles-based investment firm, has invested in Aero Turbine, an aerospace maintenance, repair and overhaul service provider, in partnership with Doug Clayton and Dave Mattson.
The company provides services to the US military as well as foreign militaries and other commercial customers around the world. Aero Turbine’s comprehensive service offering includes a combination of accessory and engine servicing, repairs and on-site testing. With multiple NADCAP certifications and a deep breadth of capabilities, Aero Turbine supports a wide range of commercial and military platforms.
“Gallant is an ideal partner for Aero Turbine as we enter into the next chapter in our history,” says Aero Turbine Founder and President Doug Clayton, who will continue to lead the company. “As a family-owned and operated business for over 40 years, it was important for us to identify a partner who shares our values and recognises the importance of our ‘customer first’ focus.”
Mattson, Senior Vice President, adds: “Gallant’s operational capabilities, coupled with their track record of partnering with founders to accelerate growth and drive value makes them an ideal partner for us. We look forward to working with the Gallant team to continue to build a world class organisation.”
Jon Gimbel, Partner at Gallant, says: “Doug and Dave bring decades of industry experience and have built an incredible business based on providing unmatched levels of service, flexibility and technical capabilities. We are committed to supporting Aero Turbine with our operational resources and our flexible capital base to drive long-term growth, both organically and through strategic acquisitions.”
“Our investment will allow Aero Turbine to continue to build new capabilities to pursue additional engine and aircraft component opportunities across military and commercial platforms,” adds Anthony Guagliano, Partner at Gallant. “Aero Turbine is a cornerstone investment for Gallant as we look to build a comprehensive aerospace platform.”
