Genstar Capital, a private equity firm focused on investment in the financial services, industrials, software and healthcare sectors, has promoted Principals Matt McCabe and Dominic Martellaro to Directors.
McCabe joined Genstar Capital in 2016 as an Associate, later rejoining the firm in 2019 as a Vice President after serving as Chief of Staff at Alera Group, a financial services firm and Genstar portfolio company. He was promoted to Principal in 2021. Prior to Genstar, Matt was an Investment Banking Associate in the industrials and business services group at Credit Suisse.
Martellaro joined Genstar as an Associate in 2014, also rejoining the firm in 2019 as a Vice President upon completion of an MBA from Harvard Business School. He was promoted to Principal in 2022. Prior to Genstar, he was an Investment Banking Analyst in the consumer and business services group at Deutsche Bank.
