Glennmont Partners has completed the sale of Gruig (25MW) and Todmorden Moor (12.5MW) wind farms to Foresight Group, a leading global infrastructure and private equity investment manager.
The announcement follows Glennmont’s sale of Gortahile wind farm to Greencoat Renewables PLC, which was completed earlier this month. The sale of the three wind farms means that Glennmont has now divested their portfolio of UK and Irish wind assets.
The Gruig wind farm, located in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, began generating in 2009 and comprises 10 Nordex N80/2500kW turbines. Todmorden Moor wind farm, located in West Yorkshire, was commissioned in 2014 and is powered by 5 Nordex N90/2500kW turbines. Both wind projects are currently operated by RES Group.
