Private equity firm Goldenpeak has held the first and final close of its first fund at £375m in a formal fundraising process that took just over 12 weeks. Backed by global institutional investors, the fund will support mid-market B2B services companies in the UK and Ireland.
Goldenpeak was been co-founded by Mark Williams and Leon Gillespie. The fund was heavily oversubscribed and includes endowment funds, family offices and institutional investors from both Europe and the US.
With Goldenpeak Fund I now closed, the firm is focusing on deal sourcing, execution and value acceleration. It will be looking for deals in technical services; data and information; professional services; testing, inspection and certification; governance risk & compliance; and cyber security, amongst others.
Goldenpeak was supported by Pacenote Capital as placement agent; Weil and Carey Olsen as legal counsel; and Langham Hall as fund administrator.
