Golub Capital, a US direct lender and credit manager with over $60bn in AUM, has appointed Camilla Hunter, who was most recently a Senior Associate in the European finance practice of law firm Shearman & Sterling, as European Lending Counsel. She will be based in the firm’s London office.
At Shearman & Sterling, Hunter focused on leveraged finance, acquisition finance, restructuring transactions and subordinated financing with a particular emphasis on cross-border financings. She advised private equity sponsors, commercial banks, investment banks, subordinated finance providers, and corporate borrowers on their complex European leveraged and acquisition financings, in addition to alternative capital providers including alternative debt funds and credit solutions providers.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Hunter previously worked as a Legal Secondee at The Goldman Sachs Group, where she specialised in direct lending in the EMEA region, in addition to a role within Barclays’s investment banking business.
