Goodhart Partners (Goodhart) has invested in New Science Ventures (NSV), through the Volunteer Park Capital Fund (VPC), which provides bespoke financing to private capital asset management firms.
NSV is a Connecticut-based venture capital firm with offices in Greenwich, CT and London, which invests in companies in the life sciences and information technology sectors. Founded in 2004, NSV has over USD800 million of assets under management, based on original investment cost.
VPC provides equity financing solutions to high-quality private investment management firms, enabling their management to retain control, whilst ensuring important continuity of investment philosophy, process and operations.
The investment in NSV, Goodhart’s fifth from the VPC fund, is non-dilutive and finite. NSV management maintains full control over all aspects of its business and portfolio management. The investment proceeds were used to provide additional investment capital.
