Goodwin adds Partner to credit funds platform in London

Global law firm Goodwin has appointed John Anderson as Partner in the firm’s private investment funds practice in its London office.

Anderson advises clients on regulatory, tax, financing and structuring issues in all aspects of fund formation.

In particular, Anderson focuses on senior and subordinated debt, venture debt and other credit fund strategies. He has experience working across the spectrum of alternative assets structures and jurisdictions, including open-ended, closed-ended and hybrid format funds, commingled funds and separate account arrangements, European funds with Irish, Luxembourg or UK structures, US-based funds and funds based in typical offshore jurisdictions.

Anderson also regularly advises on fund platform development matters, including greenfield manager setups and restructurings, joint-venture arrangements and carried interest and related team incentives planning, as well as on co-investment and secondaries transactions.
