Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian has promoted five associates to the partnership, effective 1 January, 2016, bringing the total number of partners to 65.

The five new partners are:
Hozefa M Botee, Corporate and Securities, New York. Formerly a software engineer and entrepreneur, Hozefa represents a variety of privately-held startups, counseling them on corporate governance, securities law compliance, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions and other transactions. Hozefa focuses his practice on representing public companies, advising on public offerings, SEC reporting, corporate governance and other matters. He received his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
Andrew Bradley, Corporate and Securities, Silicon Valley. Andy’s practice focuses on representing technology companies in a variety of industries and in all phases of their life cycle. Andy also regularly advises many venture capital firms in their investments. Prior to law school, Andy cofounded and ran product development for a software start-up. He received his JD from Columbia Law School and his MA from Stanford University.
Adan Muller, Corporate and Securities, New York. Adan represents emerging growth companies and venture capital firms with a particular focus on Latin American markets. He received his J.D. from New York University School of Law.
Jonathan Pentzien, Corporate and Securities, New York. Jon represents technology companies and venture capital and growth equity funds doing business globally, including in India, Singapore, China and the United States. He has provided counsel on numerous US-listed initial public offerings of foreign and domestic issuers as well as private securities offerings. He received his JD from Rutgers University School of Law.
Aaron Rubin, Intellectual Property, New York. Aaron represents emerging growth companies in all aspects of their day-to-day businesses. His practice focuses on negotiating commercial and licensing agreements as well as advising clients on intellectual property protection and strategy, privacy compliance, and strategic alliances. He also represents clients in the commercial, intellectual property, and privacy aspects of their financing and M&A activities. He received his JD from University of Michigan Law School.
