Hazeltree, an active treasury and intelligent operations technology provider for the alternative asset industry, has appointed Paul Gallant as Chief Product Officer. He will be based in New York, reporting to Hazeltree’s CEO Stephanie Miller.
In his new role, Gallant will oversee all products, including solutions for hedge funds, private markets, data insights, the liquidity platform, as well as cash and payments.
Prior to joining Hazeltree, Gallant was Head of Post-Trade Product Management at BlackRock, where he was responsible for defining, designing and delivering solutions for the firm’s middle office, encompassing accounting, client reporting, regulatory reporting and asset servicing offerings.
Prior to BlackRock, Gallant served variously as Global Head of Alternative Investment Services Operations and Fund Accounting and Head of Alternative Investment Services Operations Product Management for the Americas at JPMorgan, as well as holding senior operations and fund accounting roles at Citco Fund Services.
Hazeltree provides treasury management, collateral, securities financing, and liquidity planning and execution solutions that aim to streamline processes and data. Its solutions are designed for the hedge fund, private markets and asset management ecosystem.
