HIG Capital completes sale of HelpSystems to HGGC

Private equity firm HIG Capital (HIG) has closed the sale of HelpSystems Holdings (HelpSystems) to HGGC.

Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Eden Prairie, MN, HelpSystems is a leading provider of systems and network management, business intelligence, and security and compliance solutions. The Company delivers IT infrastructure software for IBM i, Unix, Linux, and Windows environments to over 13,000 customers worldwide. Customers come from virtually every industry and range in size from small and midsize businesses to Fortune 500 organisations.
In October 2015, HIG acquired HelpSystems through a private transaction. “HelpSystems is a terrific organisation with exceptional leadership. Chris Heim and Dan Mayleben and their team have transformed the business into one that has delivered attractive organic growth every year since we acquired it and completed seven tuck-in acquisitions.
