Highland Europe, a private investment firm focussed on investments in growth-stage technology and consumer companies, has appointed Josephine Healy as General Counsel to lead the firm’s legal department.
After specialising in technology VC and M&A transactions since the early days of her career, Healy has worked closely with Highland over the past six years at international law firm Osborne Clarke where she was an Associate Director. This includes working on deals including Oritain, the global leader in forensic traceability, and PVCase, the global solar engineering company. Josephine is delighted to now join the fund full-time.
In the new role, Healy will oversee Highland’s investments and exit transactions, support internal legal queries and operational matters, and manage relationships with legal firms.
