Law firm Hogan Lovells has appointed Walid Salib to the firm’s Corporate & Finance team as a partner in Riyadh. Salib joins from Eversheds Sutherland, where he was Head of M&A, Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, he was Head of M&A, Saudi Arabia, at Freshfields.
He brings more than 14 years of experience in the Middle East, with a track record of advising private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and multinational corporations on complex, high-value M&A transactions.
Salib has experience in public and private M&A, strategic joint ventures, corporate structuring and restructuring, capital markets-related M&A, and obtaining Saudi merger control clearances.
