Jiang’s practice is focused on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and project finance matters. Jiang has also provided project finance counsel on major infrastructure projects such as highway, port and amusement park construction financing projects.

“Howard has an excellent track record of leading successful cross-border deals and his addition deepens our corporate bench and our international capabilities,” says Paul Mattingly, chair of Seyfarth’s Corporate department. “As Chinese investment in the US increases, Howard will be a key advisor to Chinese businesses navigating the intricacies of cross-border transactions.”

“Howard’s China-related credentials and experience are a valuable addition to our existing Asia-Pacific transactional practice,” says Darren Gardner, chair of Seyfarth's International practice.

“I am impressed with Howard’s mergers and acquisitions work in China and our team is excited to collaborate with him on transactional activity in Asia,” says Wan Li, chief representative and managing partner of Seyfarth’s Shanghai office.

He received his JD from Columbia Law School and earned a MIA in International Banking and Finance from Columbia University, a MA in Economics from Geneva University, and a MA in Corporate Finance from Webster University. He received a BA from Shanghai International Studies University.

“Howard is a highly skilled lawyer in project finance and inbound US investment matters from Asia and his addition strategically broadens our corporate practice,” says John Napoli, co-managing partner of Seyfarth’s New York office. “His robust transactional practice complements our team and further expands the reach of our international corporate offerings.”

“Howard’s arrival is another exciting addition to our New York team and continues the firm’s strategic growth in our corporate and international practices,” says Lorie Almon, co-managing partner of Seyfarth’s New York office.

Jiang’s arrival follows the recent addition of partner Gabriel Monzon-Cortarelli, who also joined the firm’s Corporate department in New York.
