Hunter Street Partners adds three execs to inaugural advisory board

Hunter Street Partners (Hunter Street), a Minneapolis-based alternative investment management firm, has appointed three board members to its inaugural Advisory Board.

The accomplished business leaders, all based in the greater Minneapolis region, will provide guidance to the firm on its investment strategy, internal operations and management, and transactions. The members of the Advisory Board will also contribute their financial, legal, economic, and deal-making insights to further the firm’s business development efforts.

The Advisory Board members are: Steve Adams, Senior Distinguished Fellow at University of St Thomas School of Law and Former Partner & General Counsel, Wayzata Investment Partners; Van Zandt Hawn, Managing Director, Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison; and Jeff Stolt, Former Partner & CFO, Pine River Capital Management.

“We’re thrilled to welcome such a well-regarded and accomplished set of business leaders who are excited about the Hunter Street story and have a vested interest in our success,” says Neal Johnson, CEO and CIO of Hunter Street. “We will look to our newly formed Advisory Board to provide valuable input and advice as we implement our platform and grow.”

“Our Advisory Board members will offer an independent and thoughtful perspective that will complement the deep talent on the Hunter Street team,” says Andrew Platt, Partner of Hunter Street. “We will benefit from their wisdom and experience as we scale our business over the long term.”
