The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund has committed USD75 million to Valor Equity Partners’ latest fund, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
The Chicago-based growth equity investor has set a maximum target of USD2.75 billion for the new flagship fund, having begun raising capital towards the end of 2021.
Valor’s predecessor fund, Fund V, closed at USD1.7 billion back in April 2021.
