InfoSys invests in Trifacta

Infosys, a specialist in consulting, technology and next-generation services, has partnered with Trifacta to provide a data wrangling solution for the Infosys Information Platform (IIP) and Infosys’ other platforms and offerings.

Infosys clients can now leverage Trifacta’s intuitive self-service solution for exploring and transforming data—a critical step in any analytics process. Business analysts and data scientists can integrate large, complex data sets, transform and filter the results and share valuable insights, all from data stored and processed within the IIP platform.
“Trifacta’s market-leading technology will enable Infosys clients to bring together diverse and disparate data into a more digestible form for downstream analysis. With this partnership, our clients will be able to achieve insights faster and derive greater value from their Big Data investments,” says Ritika Suri, senior vice president, corporate development, Infosys.
More than 200 organisations have deployed IIP to uncover valuable business insights. IIP leverages the power of open source to address big data adoption challenges, such as inadequate accessibility of easy-to-use development tools, fragmented approaches to building data pipelines and the lack of enterprise-ready open source big data analytics platforms that can support all forms of data — structured, semi-structured and unstructured.
“We are thrilled to become part of IIP and collaborate with Infosys as a key go-to-market partner,” says Adam Wilson, CEO, Trifacta. “This partnership will play an important role in our global expansion, bringing the power and value of data wrangling to customers around the world. Together, the combination of IIP and Trifacta will address a broad range of big data use cases across a variety of business solutions, including trade data analysis, regulatory reporting, insurance modelling and predictive maintenance.”
