Innova Capital, a private equity firm focused on Central and Eastern Europe, has promoted Andrzej Pietrzak to partner, boosting the firm’s position in the e-commerce, logistics, and tech-enabled B2B sectors as it seeks investment opportunities through the recently launched Innova/7 fund.
Pietrzak has been with Innova since 2013, and prior to becoming a partner, was a managing director at the company. Over the last few years, among things, he has overseen the development of INELO Group and PEKAES and was responsible for handling Innova’s exit from both investments. He has also been involved in some of Innova’s consumer goods investments, including OSHEE and Bielenda Kosmetyki Naturalne. Prior to joining Innova, he worked at Advent International and UniCredit CAIB.
As a partner, Pietrzak will concentrate on identifying interesting investment opportunities for Innova’s seventh fund, with a focus on the sectors he was previously responsible for.
Pietrzak holds a master’s degree in finance and accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics.
