“Jules has consistently set the highest bar for himself and has exceptional investment skills,” says Sandy Miller, General Partner at IVP. “Jules will play an integral role in the future of IVP, and we are thrilled to announce his promotion.”
Maltz says: "I’m honoured to be a part of the IVP team and to work with technology entrepreneurs who are positively changing the world. Social media and mobile technologies are only just beginning to disrupt traditional industries. I’m incredibly excited about the opportunity to make later-stage investments in the coming years."
Prior to IVP, Maltz worked for 3i, a leading global venture capital firm. He evaluated early and later-stage Internet, mobile, and software investments, and he completed transactions for companies such as BlueLithium, Fotolog, Omniture (ADBE) and Trovix. Maltz also worked in business development for AdMob, a mobile advertising provider, and co-founded AdNectar, a social media advertising startup. Earlier in his career, he worked in technology investment banking with Robertson Stephens and Banc of America Securities. Maltz has an MBA from Stanford University, where he was a Siebel Scholar and an Arjay Miller Scholar. He also graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Economics from Yale University.
